I did a Google search for the phrase you put in quotes and found it under "Your
Platinum Level Benefits:" at
http://www.marriott.com/rewards/memb...ts/platinum.mi
It also lists a latinoamerica.marriott.com URL, but that page seems to be blank in my browsers
There seems to be a contradiction between "upgraded accomodations" (PLT&GLD) and "best-available guest room" (PLT) for Platinum members. But you post says you are expecting this as a Gold benefit, which I can't seem to find.
(btw, this is similar to SPG: Gold = "Enhanced Rooms/an automatic room upgrade", PLT = "Our Best Rooms")
