For non Manhattanhites, I am not sure the cheaper
tickets from Penn Station make sense because
seemingly cross town taxi velocity has now grown to
a standstill because of the closing of Broadway and
navigating the subways with luggage is a pain but
a necessity. I needed to go from the upper west side
to my 42 and 2nd Avenue office with some large art.
Then I stupidly took the one hour cab ride to Penn
station. Both cab trips tooks an hour and cost $16
each. At least the NJ transit trip is fast and only $15
although on weekends the trains sometimes only
depart every one hour.
