which hotel in Hong Kong for 3 adults/2 children in 1 room?
My family (3 adults and 2 kids) is planning a trip to Hong Kong. If possible I would prefer to book one room instead of two, because the room rates in Hong Kong are usually high. However, the room is usually smaller in Hong Kong and the number of guest in a room is usually restricted. For example, I could only be able to book one room in priorityclub.com if I input the total number of adults and kids no more than three. (priorityclub.com asks both number of adults and number of kids.) But I can book a room from spg.com if I input 3 adults. (spg.com doesn't ask for the number of kids.) I wonder if we show up as three adults and two kids, will the hotel let us in? I cannot book a room if I input 4 adults. Do anyone konw the policy of Sheraton or W hotels in Hong Kong? Because they only ask the number of adults when booking, does that mean children always stay free?
Or can anyone recommend a hotel for us? I don't mind sleeping in sofa or two people in a single bed. I want to know which hotels allow 5 people in a room.
