On a recent (full in J) HKG/YVR flight, my IFE was the only non-functioning. I didn't really care and appreciated the FA's efforts to reboot repeatedly. Was given a form to fill out and found 9,000 miles deposited to my account about a month later. Wow, and 9,000 miles too. I had a list of complaints of FAs and how they handled themselves in J, and they gave me a 5% off code. Granted I told them I wasn't looking for anything in return, had I had the choice between 5% off, or 9,000 points, I sure know what I would have taken.
I flew BOS-YYZ-YHZ r/t, and only my YYZ-BOS flight went by with perfect. I had issues with the FA's attitude on two flights, there was no pre-flight beverage service on two flights, and neither flight with the hot meal provided the menu with a description of the meal. In fact, on the YHZ-YYZ flight, an attendant asked just the E/SEs for their order. They walked to everyone else, and just asked "You want the chicken?" That was on a 763 too. What a shame.
