I must confess that I have not been a close observer of the Winter sales over the years. Are they mainly on European routes, or is Asia usually covered? As noted in OP, I need to go to India in Jan/Feb. Would you expect AA to have winter fares to Asia (based on historical pattern), or would you make your choice now?
