QF is now serving Taittinger Comte de Champagne 1999 (on my flight last week); this retails for USD 200. How many bottles can you and your wife-to-be drink? The rest of the wine list is more modest, but has some USD 50+ bottles on it. Food would be about USD 150 pp at Rockpool, and the presentation is restaurant quality. So F has a catering cost about USD 200 greater than J. On my last flight there were 5 F pax and 4 QF staff in F, needless to say service was quite good with 2 FAs spending most of their time serving the 5 pax. This seems to be a typical density these days; in fact I would go so far as to say that the 744 F crew were great.

Forgot to mention that the toiletry kit is now Georg Jensen and includes a coupon for USD100 discount on any Georg Jensen product purchase, as an F amenity.
