Hi,

I stayed there in June last year.

Half hourly courtesy bus service from the terminals. Check in was quick.

Rooms fine and quiet , quite large with usual amentities.

I did like the switch at the bedside table that turns off all the room lights- including the desk top lamps ( in a lot of hotels you have to turn off the table lamps).

Hotel restaurant reaonably priced for both dinner and breakfast.

good fitness centre and swimming pool.

Bus back to the airport terminals cost £1 in the morning. I would arrive a few minutes before the half hourly departure as esp early in the morning it can be crowded. A benefit is that it is the fist stop as it also picks up passengers at the adjacent moat house.

Nothing apart from a few houses immediately nearby apart from a couple of petrol stations with a small shop so if you are there without a car you are reliant on the bus service or a taxi.

Fine airport hotel for one night.

Paul19, Welcome to London!!
For a first time visit to London for only 24 hours I would consider staying in a Marriott in the centre of london ( subject to price) as with the bus service to the terminals plus a 35min train ride to central london a central london hotel would be a lot more convenient. ( On airport hotels are Le Meridien for the North terminal and Hilton for the South)

Regards

TBS
