Business on an A380 would be fully flat so the difference between new J and old F is even smaller.

Personally I have never used a point or mile to upgrade myself to first class on any carrier. However, I have used miles / points to upgrade Mrs. DUF to F on many occasions. And while the seat my not be spectacular, it is still a nice F product QF is offering. Service and other soft benefits are just better in F compared to J and since you are on your honeymoon I would say:" go for it".
