If you really want to try something that's inexpensive yet is getting great reviews on the internet--the Outdoor Products Essential Carry-on. Campmor sells it for under $35.

I considered the OPEC bag, but I think I'm looking for something more substantial. Maybe I should have given it a try for $30.

For now I bought 2 Weekenders from ebags. If we don't like them, I can of course send them back.
