You are right - and when I saw my upgrade on the website to King Premier I was quite happy. However I ended up in a Deluxe Room - which according to the website is below a King Shophouse. When I questioned this I was told that I was actually in an Executive Deluxe - great I thought but according to the priority club website there is no such room! When I questioned this with the Club Intercontinental receptionist she admitted that a Deluxe and Executive Deluxe were the same thing.

Don't get me wrong I was happy with the access to the Intercontinental Club lounge which was great (especially since I am sat in the lounge at the ANA Intercontinental Tokyo and it is not as good at all). I just felt I was a little fobbed off with a room downgrade without them actually saying it was a downgrade.

You will love it at Christmas I hope - all the decorations were up in Orchard Road and Raffles Plaza and it looked fabulous.
