IMHO, EWR is superior to JFK, its fast to get to, and CO's C facilities are great.
However, EWR is also very limited in space. There is really no space for a new terminal. Nor is there space for another badly needed runway. We'll see how B does once it is re-done, perhaps they can find more space do expand A properly.
JFK Terminal 2/3 is like a 3rd world country. T4 is great as is the new B6 termianal.
then theres T-1 where its mostly the Intl Carriers and its pretty new too, also AA last yr opened up their new Term, havent used it yet will do so twice in the next month. 2 Intl trips.
Ive used T-7 (BA/United) and its not too bad but nothing great either.
actually its only DL and T 2/3 that needs to be torn down and rebuilt, especially as DL is using T-4 more and more even for its Domestic flights
