HSVTSODean says that the new ice policy came out a week before BritneyGate. SATTSO says he hasn't seen the new ice policy yet, so for all he knows it's not in effect. Both of them seem to be pretty reasonable people. How am I supposed to know who's right?
Worse, what am I supposed to do when I go to an airport next week that isn't HSV or SAT? Call ahead and ask if they've seen the double-secret ice policy that I can't tell them where to find because the actual policy isn't published?
