Four Seasons are invariably excellent with young children and I agree that Four Seasons on Doheny would work very well, especially as they have just done a big refurbishment, so things are looking good. Kinds receive lots of little extras here, including mini bathrobes and slippers and little welcome goodies on their cot/bed.

I like the resort feel of the pool area at FS, which is very green - a better choice for little ones than, say, the Beverly Wilshire which is more of a grown-up sort of place.

I don't think that The Peninsula or The Montage are particularly suitable for young children, but the Beverly Hills Hotel works very well, especially if you take one of the bungalows in the grounds. Nice staff here, too.

Shutters is great for kids but only if you don't mind being in Santa Monica. If you want to be more central to Beverly Hills, then this is probably not a great idea as it can take a while, depending on traffic, to get anywhere other than LAX.
