After flying on 1 UA segment from LAX to SFO (on Jan 04, 09)/all year prior to Aug (334 EQMs), at the end of Aug thru the beginning of Sept I took a vacation to Italy on 8/24 via UAL & got back on Sept 6 to find my local project was canceled and I had to fly SFO>ORD>SFO each week for a new project which also included a SFO>FRA>LHR>FRA>SFO a couple of weeks ago for work as well.

I'd like to know if anyone has had a more precipitous ride from essentially a person who did not fly at all (for work at least) to 1K.

So my stats are 324 EQM as a GM on 8/24 to 1K on 11/12 (my projection) – total of 24 EQS to 100,277 EQMs (again projected). I will post the actual date and EQM/EQS when this posts into my MP acct. I also project a total of 129,831 by the end of the year EQM.

Also I’ve made 1K the hard way before so I just consider this to be a fortunate fluke of timing!

I’m sure there is someone who was sitting eating bon-bons somewhere who suddenly got called up to do some UN work in Afghanistan who can best this.
