Yes, MHT is very expensive. It did used to be cheaper than BOS, but no longer.

If leaving BOS have you considered changing programs to UA? I was US for the longest time out of MHT but find better options (flights and $) on UA out of BOS. I ended up changing to UA for that reason and the E+. Of course I never came close to US CP so I couldn't speak to those benefits.
