The Luxur was an interesting feature on the strip after it opened - but the only thing worthy about it now is the outside view of a pyramid. They probably don't want interior photos because they're afraid that people will see what a dump it turned into.
OK, they are private property owners and can set pretty much any non-discriminatory rule they want, but it sounds like this place (and Excalibur) is in need of a photo "swarm" - hundreds of shutterbugs descending on the properties at the same time and snapping pics of everything in sight, then leaving en masse just as quickly as they entered. That will give property management something to chatter their teeth over.
