Thanks for all of the information. I will check into switching to the 763. However, I don't know if they will allow me, plus I want to make sure I can keep my upgrade.

I actually was lucky enough to fly on the newly reconfigured 747 in August. I had a flight from PWM-ORD-DEN. While I sat in the RCC, I looked on United.com and it told me that our flight was leaving from C18, where a 747 was parked. It was pretty awesome, as I was able to snag 13A on the upper-deck... Pilots were very friendly, they allowed us to take some pictures and poke around the flight-deck and the crew rest.

As far as food, what should I expect? I have browsed around the United website, however it doesn't provide much info... Do they give out a menu?
