My wife and I are going to be taking a TATL trip this month (SAT->MAD via ATL) and the cost for business elite is just not an option so we're booked in economy. Right now, the load factor on the entire flight is low both economy and business. Does Delta make any attempt to offer paid upgrades at the airport for a reasonable amount? If so, what is the best way to go about this?
