No photos at The Luxor (in the name of Homeland Security)
Just had a colleague call me who is in Vega$
As soon as he had entered The Luxor everyone was told no photos.
My colleague pressed the employee who explained the policy was only 2 weeks old and was suggested by "Homeland Security" because of some investment ties with Dubai.
As far as the policy, I would presume this is legal, as all areas inside The Luxor, would be considered private property.
At the same time, I'd say this is the most tourist, unfriendly policy I've heard of. Aside from gambling, many visitors want to take pictures of the unique architecture and things like the big flashy prize displays.
Anyone know the skinny on this? I haven't been to Vegas recently but last time I was there not once did anyone stop and challenge me for taking a picture, even indoors.
