Not exactly. It is different for domestic and international. Domestic tickets DO NOT, or more specifically should not, have ASC assessed when only changing to a higher fare class. Sometimes agents don't understand this. International tickets usually do but I suppose it could vary depending upon the rule of the ticket.
I tried to change the fare class on my domestic ticket from a T to a K. The res agent told me there would be on top of the change in ticket cost, a $150 change fee. So, they were wrong?
