Upgrade to Junior Suite type of room on 5th floor with large terrace and very nice view. One of my favorite *W hotels, though I will never overcome the fact that they took the floating pool away.

Westin Cape Town
Upgrade to Corner Suite, nice room, great view of new stadium, great hotel.

Le Meridien Heliopolis
No upgrade whatsoever despite hotel seemingly empty. Not even a king bed available apparently. Hotel to be avoided, unless you are a big fan of 80's room decor (and in terms of last renovation date).
