In the Red Carpets, UA charges for everything and at the PC's, CO only charges for Premium Drinks (ie CC and Ginger Ale $7 at Red Carpet, $0 at the PC). The result is that all of the Red Carpet riff raff will stream into the PC (as well as all the international people on United, who dont know the definition of tipping). I think CO should use a crayon and scribble UA on the foreheads of all RedCarpet riff raff as they enter and charge them the Red Carpet rates, otherwise CO will lose money on their Clubs
I wrote to the executive office about this exact "imbalance" when they first proposed this alliance. Seems, they aren't that concerned, since there has been what 18 months to address it before joining?
