If you decide to shell out the potentially serious $$$ to upgrade from a T to an M fare so that you can use a PMU - make sure to double and triple check (ask the phone agent twice) that there is upgrade inventory available that can be confirmed immediately. Also, you *may* be able to talk your way out of the change fee.
