Update
Just received a call from Hyatt Customer Relations (I think that's what he said) regarding the Andaz reservation.
He explained that the "$C" rate means confidential. He also said that because of the technical glitch, he was offering a $110/night rate for the dates I had booked (I think he said it was a 60% discount from the actual un-confidential rate). ^
I told him I had already been in contact with the GM. He said he had not, and to go ahead and make arrangements with the hotel directly, since they offered to honor the $0 rate.
I think I received this call because I had emailed BOTH the GM directly, and the address on the confirmation email (Andaz e-host).
I am planning to follow-up further with the GM (haven't had time yet), but either way, as I predicted, Hyatt is dealing with this in a fair and professional manner...still a great deal!
