I don't believe they received $2.6 Billion in cash - IIRC a chunk of the announcement was the promise of funding for 738's that are arriving, which of course doesn't help a great deal with paying salaries and for fuel.

Based on $1 billion a year losses made a little worse by rising fuel prices, I'd assume AA ought to be OK for cash until the second half of 2010 assuming nothing gets much worse.
