Foodguy, was your room a hotel-type room (what pwrshift refers to as a lockoff)? If so, I can see your response being that it was no big deal.
The screened-in decks are off the larger half of the 2 bedroom units (the non-lockoff) -- which have a full kitchen, dining room, living room and seperate bedroom, so its unfortunate that they gave you the basic hotel room portion -- which I would agree is no big deal.
I'm suprised you had parking troubles. It usually seems that there are enough spots per building to accomidate all guests.
If you had use of the 2 bedroom unit, I think you would have enjoyed it more.
I agree that the timeshare units should be excluded from the listings. Frankly, I expect that most of the owners would prefer Marriott not rent them out (especially for $90 a night) when they spend thousands buying a week's usage.
