big problem with MR reservation

hi all,

I called MR to re-confirm a reservation for next week and found that it had been cancelled because no CC# had been given to confirm, even though I told them to use the card they have on file.

I reserved 2 rooms for 5 nights at the Renaissance Jaragua property in Santo Domingo at the end of May, received my reward certs, did all the procedures.

I spoke to Customer Service today and she's speaking to the "Regional Coordinator" to try and resolve the problem.

What recourse do I have? I've already spent the 170k points for the hotel, plus 240k US points to get down there in F. A ruined holiday is not in my plans.

Suggestions, please!

Someone is phoning me back on Monday to update me on the situation, I'd like to have my "case" by then and climb my way to a manager if necessary.
