Not really a town, but in Nang Thong and Bang Niang, the 2 main beaches in Khao Lak, you should find some places to get a cold drink at night (but maybe not late at night). It'll take you about 10 or 15 minutes by Tuk-Tuk to get there. If you really want to get into nightlife you better stay elsewhere
