I share your doubt, but you might hear something if you replied that if their investigation revealed a valid reason for this happening, you would like to know what it was.
The only time that this ever happened to me was on AS metal. Mrs.
gemac and I had seats in the last row of coach LAX-SEA, with an empty seat in that group of 3. One of the FAs told (not asked, told) us to move to another row that had somebody else in it. We did so, and that last row became an FA chat room.
