I am a VS Amex card holder (US) and find the spend on it useful in building my miles, plus the Tier points help me maintain my Gold FF status.

IF I were to switch, what is the BA equivalent card - not just a card with miles, but a card that helps you get tier points. (or whatever they are called with BA!)

I have taken advantage of the new Chase/BA Visa card offer, with its 100,000k joining miles, but.. Tier Points?

why bother? well, VS mileage upgrade policy is so insanely tight you cant do anything with anything but a full fare ticket, ($$$) even if you have miles coming out of your wazzo. kind of pisses me off. Was looking at the AA mileage rewards site - and that is a model of clarity and how to do it. It's time to look around, and see what other options I have, besides endlessly accruing VS miles that they barely let you use.
