The OP should watch the predicted weather patterns in the NYC area...a southerly wind = sit on the left side (landing will be to the south), and vice versa. This time of year I would wager on a N wind, but you never know.

Of course, I never mentioned the more important point - on a morning flight from Europe (like EDI-EWR) I will always sit on the right side to avoid the blazing sun throughout the majority of the flight... I swear it's 10 degrees cooler on that side on the 752
