Best Approach to get 1 Day Anytime reduced to regular?

Any comments ideas on how to get a hotel to reduce/waive a 4 Day stay from 3 regular (036) and 1(A16) anytime certificates to 4 regular (046). It is a signicant mileage difference. 48K.
