Thanks yyzflyer. Actually I booked the concierge floor for $20 more/night than a standard room ($10 more than the exec floor) so it sounds like I wont be disappointed. I didnt want to risk being silver and trying to get the upgrade since it's not in their "official" benefits. By the way, was the breakfast good on the concierge floor? I've never been in the lounge at a Marriott. Is breakfast served there or do you get a voucher for breakfast in the hotel restaurant downstairs?

Since I'm there for 5 days I think I'd rather stay here even if I'm not earning HHonors points. Maybe Marriott will have a new customer. Thanks for your insight.
