I toured the Mission Inn a couple of years ago. Like you, I had no idea it existed. It's really a neat property!

There's a chair they keep on display that was specially constructed for the rather large President William Howard Taft's visit. I was reminded of the chair when visiting Taft's childhood home in Cincinatti in September.
