If you have a pediatrician visit prior to the trip, get the doctor to write a note that notes the quantity and type of food you suggest to him/her. That's the emergency trump card to pull out if a supervisor also ends up being unreasonable.
No, the real trump card is to call law enforcement and charge both the TSO and the supervisor with practicing medicine without a license. Even if they don't do time, the felony rap sheet will ensure they work for Manpower, Inc for the rest of their lives.
