I have an earlier model of this. It can easily fit in the palm of your hand. The long trimming guide is still pretty short, so you might want to use it with a thick comb.
This is what I ended up purchasing from Amazon. The short trimming guide is no issue for me because my goatee is fairly close-cut and I trim it daily. And thanks to the suggestion of bagobsessive I picked out a battery-operated Braun shaver, it's excellent.
