I've been reading from this forum that Citi would automatically reject apps if there are more than 6 "hard" pulls. I ordered my credit report today and checked under the Inquiries, which is listed at "6". (Does this mean games's over for me...at least for now?)
I've only applied for Citicards twice (2 cards each time). When I looked under the inquiries breakdown, 3 of the inquires were from 2007 and 2008 (mortgage related). Of the 3 recent inquiries, one was for for another bank, and 2 were Citi. Even though I had applied for a total of four cards, does anyone know if this is considered "4" hard pulls or only "2" hard pulls, and is the "6" inquiries on my credit report still relevant if I want to apply for one or two more cards? Thanks!
(I'm considering the BA 100k offer, but I'm still reviewing through the terms and conditions to see if I qualify as I had a United Chase card before)
Have you read the sticky relative to the time frame for the hard pulls.
Citi counts all hard pulls no matter what bank or finance company they are from.
