Reread paragraph 2 in this extract several times. Repeat "FT strongly encourages members to familiarize themselves with the T&C and / or relevant Forum information before assuming whether, or how many, miles are earned. Better luck the next time - and I am sure you will remember to check from here on out. (We've undoubtedly all learned a or two lesson the hard way - I learned one with a QF flight some years ago.)

As a moderator, I'd also advise posting issues regarding BA services etc. on the appropriate forum - BAEC Forum.
