Just one last thought and reminder.

These people paid probably $25,000+ plus for a terrific party for all FlyerTalkers who wanted to come. No strings attached. They did this just a few months ago. When we arrived there was top-notch wine, a huge food spread. They flew in people from Andaz corporate and Hyatt corporate and the people from the hotel were there and were very kind.

They went out of their way to talk to us. They took us on tours of the hotel in small groups. We ended up on the rooftop terrace overlooking the strip, where they had an open bar with amazing cocktails. There were huge spreads of shrimp, sushi, etc.

We were then taken into the grand ballroom where there was a full dinner. Carving stations and so forth. They gave every FlyerTalker who came a gift bag with a $100 Hyatt gift card, a bottle of nice wine, a personalized book and a $50 dinner certificate. One of us got a free trip to the London Andaz, air included.

I just want to urge those of you that are falling out of your seat to "get" these people on this technicality of the fact of their kindness to other FlyerTalkers in the very recent past.

Please think about the FlyerTalker community as a whole and factor that into your decision on how hard to press these people. This is an exceptional case of a specific property that was unusually generous to our "FlyerTalk family". I hate to see a group of people that were so generous, so kind to us as a community suffer, and just wanted to say that with the hope that you will consider as much as you decide how to handle this.
