I don't know whether that's the case anymore. my last stay at the IC Nehru Place in August was only charged about 10% of the actual rate paid (around Rs 700 I think) even though the booking confirmation said tax would be Rs 2500 (which would have been based on the rack rate). I was surprised when I saw the bill.
