As a soldier overseas serving in Operation Eduring Freedom, I want to thank you for participating in the "Any Servicemember" program. The Red Cross usually sends us packages from all over the country and we are amazed by the effort people put into the them. The engineers say that hot water is coming soon and when it does I will enjoy that shampoo, whether it is from Marriott, Hilton, or the Red Roof Inn! Again, thank you.

Both. I bring my own, and save the extras in a box. A couple of times a year, we give the accumulated boxfuls to a local homeless shelter. I also use them in care packages for overseas military personnel. I was Army for five years, so I know how much kids in uniform appreciate gifties from home.

My SO and I make up a couple of boxes for "Any Male Servicemember" and a couple for "Any Female Servicemember." Toss in the lil' hotel toiletries, some beef jerky (candy tends to melt in transit), some current magazines (sports, news and entertainment magazines are appreciated), AA batteries and the like.

In short, I keep the toiletries in order to give them to others.
