Since NWA is no longer at T2 the security lines are now pretty fast. Keep in mind that there are no "elite" lines there for security. I'd personally walk it, but it is a long way, if you're not into that long of a walk, take the bus out front that goes from Terminal to Terminal. LAX is a miserable airport for interline changes.
