Hello,

Planning on a business trip to Dresden next month, I noticed the closest Marriott is the Renaissance Chemnitz, about 70km away.

If I stay here, would it be easier to commute by car or train to Dresden, and how long would it take for each?

Also, is the train station within walking distance of the hotel, or would I need to drive there?

I also noticed on the Marriott website a Treff hotel right in Dresden, but does this hotel earn points or status nights?

Any help appreciated.
