I agree that getting an insect in the food in F is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting, regardless of the usual vitriolic replies given earlier in response to your daring to complain against BA.

The BA response is, if what you posted is their only response, pathetic and inadequate. If the intention of your post is to elicit suggestions as to what you should do next, it is very simple.

(a) if you suffered any physical harm from the experience, which can be verified by doctors and some course of treatment followed and medicines taken, you are at liberty to sue BA. Your word will not do, if you really suffered, there must be treatment records at the appropriate dates. If you have those, you have a good case.

(b) If that is not the case, write to Guardian Money, a newspaper in the UK which prints these kind of unacceptable service and even contacts the UK businesses which gave those unacceptable service and tries to arrange an arrangement acceptable to both. In any case, your writing to them will at least get the word out on what BA has on its first class menu recently. The fact that the flight was from Asia etc. is irrelevent, as the flight was still BA and they are bound to live up to their service standards.

Good luck!!
