If you look at
transferring award, you will find out that GP don’t include transfers of tier benefits into their policy.
It goes without saying, that you are either entitled for all or for none benefits. I have the impression you realised that your travel partner is neither entitled to choose 1W as Diamond Welcome Amenity nor to earn 30% bonus points on eligible incidentals. Consequential, why should s/he be eligible for complimentary internet access, room upgrade, access to RCs, etc, if s/he don’t hold Diamond status?
