That would be like a tow truck driver not bring all his tow equipement with him. A mechanic starting a job without his tools. A fireman without his turn-out coat.
Why can't TSA do things professionally?
What is properly prepared for the TDC? I change my gloves after each thing I do, should I do that after each persons ID I check? Do you wear gloves to shake everyones hand you meet? How many gloves, how much money, would it cost if each person at TD in each airport changed gloves after each persons ID they check?
As I said above, I sometimes ask people to hold their own ID as I check it, I use so muc hand sanatizer I nearly take a bath in it, and I do wash my hands so many countless times a day.
