According to
T&C,
- Memberships cannot be shared or combined by more than one person.
- Hyatt Gold Passport points are for member's benefit only and are not transferable to another person for any reason including divorce or inheritance.
- In order for a Hyatt Gold Passport member to receive Hyatt Gold Passport points, the bill for eligible charges must be in that member's name and member must personally pay for all charges. A member's account number cannot be used by anyone else in order to accrue Hyatt Gold Passport points, benefits, promotion credits or upgraded membership status.
I second
Cygnet’s statement.
Tier benefits are designed for elite members.
Two examples:
- Only Diamond Members may opt for 1W bonus as a complimentary welcome amenity at North American properties. Why should diamond’ members account get 1K points credit if s/he shared a room booked by a member who is not entitled to this benefit?
- Hyatt Gold Passport members may receive Hyatt Gold Passport points on Eligible Incidental Charges, even when paying Ineligible Rates. Why should a general member earn 30% point bonus?
