I've done the procedure in HKG (I used the HKIA Frequent Visitor Card before), and they take both your picture and your fingerprints. The procedure takes no more then 10 minutes.

Can you please tell me where this "Immigration Enrolment Office" is? I asked so many people at HKIA and I got all the wrong answers. These airport "ambassadors" are no help at all.
