Thanks for your help. Bill, your descriptions were especially useful. I'm going to go for #2 and rack up 14 nights and 240K AA points. I was told by the Marriott folks that I could turn the 14 nights back into MR points, but at 50,000 per certificate, it certainly isn't a wise use of points. I'll just have to find time to use the free rooms.
