Looks like this guy might be a mid area manager or something, hence the "VP".

If I were his boss, and he weren't essential, I'd fire him for looking like a putz on TV and bringing the company into it. He seems to have acted unprofessionally from the start, and over a slightly bigger seat and a free cocktail or two on a short flight.
